MomiBosu is a highly challenging and precise 2D platformer. The battles with powerful bosses are also a big attraction. It is a challenging 2D action game that is worthwhile for even the most skilled players.

A game that makes you want to try again and again
The game is being developed with the aim of making players feel like, "Even if you lose, it feels like you're close to making some progress, so you want to try just one more time!"
The platformer part has been designed to eliminate random elements as much as possible, so that playing skills can be easily reflected. (For example, it is designed so that RTA runners can run through it faster.)
On the other hand, the game also includes permanent buff items as a relief measure for first-time players, a game speed adjustment mode, and other elements to make the game enjoyable for a wide range of people.

Unique gimmicks for each stage
As you progress through the stages, new gimmicks will appear one after another.
The first stage has an interesting mechanism that is activated by ramming enemies into each other.

Battle fearsome boss characters
Many boss characters appear in Momiboss.
In battles with humanoid bosses, you can parry the boss's attacks and stun them to land a powerful blow. Stunning an enemy changes the background color. The background color is determined randomly, and if you get a stronger background color, you can launch an extremely powerful attack.
Enjoy thrilling boss battles that will give you a sense of tension similar to that of a fighting game.

Boss characters are not only human but also monsters
As you explore the vast world, you will inevitably have to fight giant biological weapons.
Each boss character has very different characteristics, so figuring out how to defeat them is part of the fun of the game.
If you read the flavor text left in the dungeon, you may be able to understand why the biological weapons are left loose, so if you like that kind of thing, be sure to check out the text as well.

Essential strengthening items for strategy
Get items to strengthen your character.
It is recommended to collect a lot of items in order to fight powerful boss characters.
Of course, it is possible to complete the game quickly by acquiring only the minimum number of items. We think that experienced runners may choose to do the latter.
The play style is up to you.


Damage management system with no HP
The Momi Boss does not have hit points. So does that mean you will be defeated if you get hit once by the boss character? You may be wondering. In fact, you will not be defeated by just one attack.
The Momi Boss has two types of damage: instant death damage and near death damage.
Instant Death Damage:
If you touch the needle gimmick that is often found in platform parts, you will die instantly.
Dying Damage:
When you are attacked by an enemy or boss character, you will be in a near-death state for a certain period of time. If you are attacked again, you will be killed. The near-death state will be released after a certain period of time. The stronger the enemy character's attack, the longer you will be in a near-death state.
The damage management system is inspired by FPS games.
This is the mechanism by which your wounds heal when you hide in shadow after being shot.




About the story
A boy and a girl born and raised in an underground village begin their adventure, dreaming of traveling to the world outside their village. The world of Momibos was once hit by a great conflict, and people are divided. To travel between the divided areas, they must pass through many dangerous places. Therefore, the boy and girl will pay a heavy price during their journey. Please see for yourself how this adventure will end.
*The story is structured like a road movie, so it is advertised as a road movie-like 2D platformer.
